Decide what the morning needs

Start with the products and instructions you already know. If you use a face wash, rinse it fully before applying leave-on care. A comfortable moisturiser can be a simple next step; extra layers are optional.

Before adding another serum, ask whether you like the finish under your sunscreen and makeup. Changing one layer at a time makes a useful comparison. The aim is an even, comfortable application, not the most elaborate routine.

Give sunscreen its own step

Apply sunscreen according to its label rather than blending it into moisturiser or foundation. AGTHEORY UV Protection Cream is labelled SPF50+ and PA++++ and is also described by the manufacturer as a makeup base. That does not remove the need for a proper sunscreen application.

For outdoor exposure, the AAD advises reapplying sunscreen about every two hours and after swimming or sweating. Shade, a hat and suitable clothing belong in the plan too.

Pack for the actual day

Keep a sunscreen you will reapply with you when the day includes outdoor time. Do not choose swimming protection from a high SPF number alone; check the separate water-resistance wording. If your day changes, adapt the protection plan rather than relying on the application you made before breakfast.

Match protection to the day ahead

For an office or city day, compare your usual moisturising finish and separate sunscreen step. For a pool or beach day, check the additional labelled water-resistance conditions. The itinerary helps you choose conditions of use; it does not change the product label.
